Transisted.

I feel more comfortable these last days. The sun is shining very strongly, whilst looking very beautiful outside it is quite oppressive during midday. I moved to a different area again. This time I am staying in the middle of the main road on the island. In an area called Baan Tai. There are more …

Transitions.

It seems as though each time I change my lifestyle I have to go through a sort of transition period. I remember the first ever time I came travelling, arriving in Bangkok, I was afraid. I questioned what I was doing there, what was I looking for, did I come to far to look for …

Where am I on the global fat scale?

I have less body fat than 98% of males aged 30-44 in my country. I have less body fat than 86% of males aged 30-44 in the world If everyone in the world had the same body fat as me, it would remove 53,224,861 tonnes from the total weight of the world’s population.

More and more juggling

A rather long video of some juggling practice I did, I guess i’m showing off, but also would love to share and learn more tricks and things. So with this video I throw out a metaphorical fishing line to all you jugglers out there.

Mystic thinking is an open door to ignorance.

It’s true.

Emailing a creationist.

So as I said, I emailed the creationist guy that claimed that Neanderthal bones are just human bones really.

Evolution, creationism, intelligent design and so on.

I just wrote this little essay on evolution, creationism and intelligent design. I’ve come across this subject a lot across the years, mainly on the internet, I’ve only ever met 2 people I can remember that didn’t believe in evolution at all, (These were two Jehovah’s Witnesses that came to my door in Australia, one …

Vipassana:-in the Buddhist tradition means insight into the nature of reality.

So I did the retreat, and I found it very difficult, but very interesting upon reflection and very rewarding. My mind cycles very very quickly, and I have been aware for a long time that I need a lot of stimulation to keep it interested, so the difficulty came when i removed all stimulation’s! Its …

Dharamsala To Ladakh, a life affirming bus journey and a look at stillness.

I have just been completed one of the most amazing journeys I have been on. It lasted 4 days, it spanned temperatures from 45c to below 0, from a few hundred meters above sea level to heights that impede breathing. However, despite all this a major highlight of the journey was the feeling that the …

Learning to draw

To inspire I have decided to share with you the story of how I am learning to draw. I started to draw in Goa around 4 months ago. I had dabbled in drawing sketchy things a few times in the past, but never really locked on to anything and developed a style, mainly because I …
