Thailand to Malaysia.

After 6 weeks on Ko Pha Ngan neglecting the internet (it gets too much attention anyway doesn’t it), I am now in Malaysia in the Cameron Highlands, with wifi in my room (but no plug socket, they are in the common area) and back to writing and editing photographs.

Transisted.

I feel more comfortable these last days. The sun is shining very strongly, whilst looking very beautiful outside it is quite oppressive during midday. I moved to a different area again. This time I am staying in the middle of the main road on the island. In an area called Baan Tai. There are more …

Transitions.

It seems as though each time I change my lifestyle I have to go through a sort of transition period. I remember the first ever time I came travelling, arriving in Bangkok, I was afraid. I questioned what I was doing there, what was I looking for, did I come to far to look for …

Where am I on the global fat scale?

I have less body fat than 98% of males aged 30-44 in my country. I have less body fat than 86% of males aged 30-44 in the world If everyone in the world had the same body fat as me, it would remove 53,224,861 tonnes from the total weight of the world’s population.

Streamline.net

I thought I’d follow up on the Streamline.net debacle, more really did need to be said unless I decide to abandon this blog…which I haven’t, part in thanks to Streamline.net who eventually convinced me to give them a further £90 and another two years as my site host. They reduced the cost from £190, they …

More on Streamline.net

Upon researching Streamline.net I find that so many people have had woes with this company. Their tactic of doubling charges seems prevalent. As does refusing to cancel accounts and demanding money, threatening charges upon charges if you don’t pay them. I find this site http://aldavies.co.uk/ from a guy who has had problems with them charging …

STREAMLINE.NET

My webhost Streamline.Net has frozen my account. They tried to bill me recently but they couldn’t because the credit card had expired. So they emailed and asked for more card details. I saw that their costs had doubled, because there was an offer for the previous years I was with them and this offer is …

Isreal and Iran.

What's the more appealing exchange?

The governemnts of both Israel and Iran are spitting and scowling at each other whilst the people of these countries exchange messages of love over the internet. The difference of opinion from government and the people disgusts me. I think people should instantly overthrow any government or so called leaders that propose unwanted events that …

How to tie your shoelace (I think you have been doing it wrong)

After a long time not posting anything I thought something helpful for everyone would be a nice way to get posting again.

Best Cry Ever – is it ok to Laugh?

Recently a friend pointed me towards a youtube video, a video of a guy that tells his -I’m guessing- father, that he still loves him, then his father starts to cry, an odd wailing sort of cry that made me laugh quite a lot. Then he directed me towards the same video, however this time …

No to ACTA

There is a direction being discussed that aims to change a few deep aspects to our lives. The following video describes it. Do you really think record and film companies and game manufacturers are suffering because of illegal downloading? Don’t the budgets for films and rock concerts still reach 100′s of millions of pounds? I …

Unix creator Dennis Ritchie dies.

Dennis Ritchie was involved in creating Unix, an operating system that birthed Linux. Linux birthed Apple’s OS and all things important, since Windows can’t be trusted. And he also had a hand in creating the C programming language. He encouraged open source software, which is for free and available for people to tinker with, for …

More and more juggling

A rather long video of some juggling practice I did, I guess i’m showing off, but also would love to share and learn more tricks and things. So with this video I throw out a metaphorical fishing line to all you jugglers out there.

Important news?

So in February this year in Iceland there was a revolution. It was a peaceful revolution unlike the revolutions that occurred in the middle east this year. The Icelandic revolution started to brew around 2009, when the economy was trashed as a direct result of private investments. The private investors that did this had just …

facebook-is-watching-you

Facebook has been caught using a cookie that logs where you go on the internet even when your not logged into Facebook. So even if you think that you don’t do much on there, so they don’t know much about you, your wrong, they follow you everywhere. Well, not any-more because I’m very sure now …

In the news today there were two videos about robotic snakes.

Men

I remember one of my first girlfriends, and the amount of times I did something that I wasn’t aware of and I got punished for it, I thought the bitch was crazy, but now I see it wasn’t her fault, it was mine, men just don’t know what they do wrong naturally. For this I …

Mystic thinking is an open door to ignorance.

It’s true.

Paul MCartney, Wikileaks, The Guardian and LSD.

Right, The Guardian, BBC and all other “media partner’s” of Wikileaks, apparently, you are all condemning Wikileaks because recently they released loads of cables, documents, files and folders with secrets in, secrets that maybe damaging to certain elements in society, and even risk peoples lives! There are over 250,000 files so it would take some …

Today the light in Lisbon was amazing

Yesterday It rained all day, and today as the moisture evaporated off the land and gathered in the sky the light became amazing, even for Lisbon’s standards. Hit more to see more of this amazing light.
