Here are a few more pictures from Leh. Including some extra special night shots.

The first pictures is where I am staying, that room on the corner with all them windows. And just behind my guesthouse are winding roads and pathways as shown in the second picture.

This is a Monastery, it can be seem throughout most of the city, so you never really get lost, because you just walk towards it if you do.

Some kids who demanded I take a picture of them.

And here are two extra special pictures. Last night I went back to the hill where I get the above shots from yesterday and I took these long exposure pictures. Yes its really night, thats the moon thats casting all that light, you can see its night from the stars in the sky and the fact that the ground is very dark. Pretty super pictures hey! If you go to my flickr you can see the full resolution pictures, ideal for desktops!

Here’s one more moonlight shot, this time with no moon. And an extra special bonus sheep picture because I don’t like to have a picture floating all on its own here.
So I’m still here in Leh. I don’t have much time left here though, I have to start making my way to Nepal which goes something like, Leh-Manali (2days) Manali-Delhi (12 hours) Delhi-Varanasi (12 hours) varanasi-Nepal (10 hours), So I think i’ll hot foot it to Varanasi and see how long I have to spare, and any days I can spare I’ll spend them in monsoon time Varanasi! I’ve never seen it in monsoon time, so that should be different.

Hello Stephen
Leh looks very clean, could not see any rubbish in the street shots. An interesting place.
The journey ahead of you sounds long, Leh has an airport why not fly.
love dad
