Here are some of the reasons I came all this way to Leh.

These are HDR composite pictures, I took nine photographs at varying exposures and combined them to get these odd but beautiful looking pictures. The are both of Leh.

Another HDR. This is the Shanti Stupa, which is a relatively new Stupa. A Stupa is a big lump with stuff buried inside them, Buddhist stuff.

This says “Om Mani Padme Hum” Which is the chant that the Tibetans say when they count their beads. People carve this into rocks and leave them at Stupa’s. Most Stupa’s I have seen are surrounded by these rocks.

I think these are kind of like mini Stupa’s. I have seen them all over India. And my friend Sasha said that the mountain people in Russia also make these. I wonder if there is a connection between these and the stacking that autistic people can sometimes do.

A Ladakhi style chimney. And some Tibetan prayer flags, they are everywhere! I heard someone say that they are a bit of a problem, and it could be true, i have seen huge masses of these things, wrapped around and around boulders in the middle of nowhere, like huge gay bee-hives (since the do look a bit like the gay flag hey?). Either way, I like to see them.

I liked the way the sun reflected on this fence. And that is Upper Changspa, the area I am staying in. Its the quiet corner of town.

And to prove im here, me! And that room on the far corner of that building is my room. Which is beautiful!
Its kinda brief, but why not hey.
